Two poster series proposal for the United Nations to promote and raise awareness of their Universal Declaration of Human Rights, specifically Article 18- freedom of religion.
Peace utilizes the symbols
of many religions and has placed
them within the universal
symbol for “peace”. Subtly in the background reads the full description of Article 18 repeated.“Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private,to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice,worship and observance.”
Release utilizes the symbols of
many religions being released by ambiguous hands to symbolize the release of oppression towards religions around the world and the freedom to worship as we like. A red symbol of “peace” sits at the center and stresses our right and need of the universal freedom of religion as Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights emphasizes our freedom of religion.
